The festival runs for two days each June and features food competitions, concerts, fireworks and parades. Windjammers (sailing ships) sail into the harbor fully rigged.

Held every summer, the Lincoln Arts Festival aims to preserve and support the performing, visual and applied arts in Boothbay Harbor. The Jazz Weekend features jazz band performances at the Opera House and a Sunday jazz church service at Boothbay Harbor Congregational Church.
