Once known as the Central Maine Civic Center, the arena was renamed in 2004 to the Colisee. It is home to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Lewiston MAINEiacs, and also serves as a venue for concerts, trade shows and special events. There is 17,000 square-feet of exhibition space and a 4,580 seat capacity. Between the years of 1973 and 1977, the arena was home to the Maine Nordiques and also held the famous 1956 rematch fight between Muhammed Ali and Sonny Liston.
