    Wells Beach
    Located on the south side of the town, Wells Beach is a public, sandy beaches facing the Atlantic Ocean. Lifeguards are on duty during the peak summer months for the safety of visitors.

    Mother's Beach

    Mother's Beach one of three beaches that make up Kennebunk Beach and is located on the west end of Beach Avenue. Lifeguards are on duty from July until Labor Day (early September). There is also a small playground for children and public restrooms are on-site. Visitors need a parking permit for the beach lots or can take a trolley, which will drop them off at the beach.

    Middle Beach
    Situated in between Gooch's and Mother's beaches, Middle Beach is the third area that makes up Kennebunk Beach. This portion is primarily made of rocks and is not a popular place for sun bathing, but is frequented by beach combers and walkers.

    Goose Rocks Beach

    Goose Rocks Beach is a 3 mile-long (5 km-long), fine-sand beach located north of Kennebunkport Village. This is not a commercial beach and the public is asked to stay on the marked paths and off the dunes. No lifegaurds are on duty and not bathroom facilities are available.

    Auburn Municipal Beach
    Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, The Auburn Municipal Beach provides visitors with an area of Lake Auburn that can be swam in. Changing rooms and washrooms are located on-site. There is a fee to use this beach.

    Willard Beach
    There are 4 acres (4.6 ha) of beach at Willard Beach. It is located between the SMTC Campus and Fisherman's Point. In the summer season there is a snack shop, restrooms, and showers.

    Pemaquid Beach

    Situated along Maine's rocky coastline is this small and very popular white sand beach. Locals crowd the shoreline and ease into the cold ocean water on hot summer days. A snack bar offering a range of treats including lobster rolls, and a beach shop are located on site.

    Main Ogunquit Beach
    Part of Ogunquit Beach, the Main Ogunquit beach is the largest of the three sections. It is located off of Beach Street in downtown Ogunquit and features miles of white sand coastline beside the Atlantic Ocean. Trolley services are available for Main Ogunquit Beach and Footbridge Beach.

    Kennebunk Beach
    Made up of three beaches - Gooch's, Middle and Mother's - Kennebunk Beach is one of the most frequented beaches in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. Found on the west side of Kennebunk River along Beach Avenue, this area has lifeguards (July to early September) at two of the beaches as well as a pathway that extends for 1.5 mi (2.4 km). Swimming, beach combing, surfing and sunbathing are just a few of the enjoyed activities at Kennebunk Beach.

    Drake's Island Beach
    One of Wells quieter beaches, Drake's Island, boasts a 2,800 ft (850 m) sandy shoreline offsetting the Atlantic Ocean. At the end of the beach near the bird sanctuary, many people enjoy fishing off the beach. During the summer months lifeguards monitor the area beaches.

    Footbridge Beach
    Footbridge Beach is the portion of the Ogunquit Beach, located two miles north of the village off of Ocean Street. Trolley services are available to this public area, which boasts white sand beaches that border the Atlantic Ocean.

    Arundel (Colony) Beach

    Arundel Beach is located at the mouth of the Kennebunk River, near the Colony Hotel. It is often referred to as the Colony Beach. No lifeguards are available.
